The Leechburg-Gilpin Lions Club serves the community through many different community projects. These volunteer activities occur throughout the communities of Leechburg and Gilpin Township. Completion of the Lions club service projects is a benefit to the community because it diretly helps individuals or organizations in need.
According to Don Herrick, Past President of the Leechburg-Gilpin Lions Club, “Any funds raised allow Lions to meet pressing needs in our community including park revitalization and vision care. Lions members thank everyone who contributed to this important work. You are truly helping Lions make a difference in our community.”
The Leechburg-Gilpin Lions Club has over 15 members and meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:30PM. Lions clubs are a group of men and women who identify needs within the community and work together to fulfill those needs.
